My wife is a songbird rehabber and almost all of the songbird shirts are birds we get into our rehab so it’s just a cool way to take them with so to speak. We take in close to 1400 birds a year and are able to release close to 85% of them back into the wild.
One of my birder husband’s favorite birds is the green heron. According to him, they are birds you
don’t get to see very often. Recently he was out in Springbrook Nature Center scouting for birds with our daughter who was visiting from Germany. 🇩🇪 All of a sudden they came upon about a dozen green herons resting in trees - perhaps relaxing from their migration journey! So imagine how happy I was to
spot the colorflock green heron t-shirt for my birder! He’s worn it three days in a row!!
